At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast, we believe that our volunteers are the heart of our organization.  Therefore, we look to provide rewarding volunteer opportunities to the Orange County community.  Forbes.com recently published an article detailing the benefits that volunteering has on the lives of working professionals.

Above all, we thank our volunteers for the positive impact that they have on our Club members and families.  We welcome new groups and individuals to join us through corporate and community volunteer opportunities. Please email The Volunteer Team or call (714) 543-5540 for more information and to get involved today.

Corporate Volunteer Opportunities

Mentor Days

Boys and Girls Club Mentor

Our Mentor Days are designed for groups of 5-20 volunteers and provide direct engagement with our Club members at our Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach and Santa Ana Club locations.

By acting as mentors through academic support and coaching, you will touch the lives of Club members and promote their self-confidence.  Most importantly, these volunteer opportunities will give your group the chance to experience the positive effects that our after-school programs have on the lives of our Club members.

Food Distribution

As an organization, we have made a firm commitment to providing essential needs and meals for families in our Orange County community that are food insecure. Every week, we host a food distribution; providing meals to over 200 families in Santa Ana.

Therefore, we are always looking for volunteer groups to join our food distribution events. Form your own group and make your own positive impact.

Thanksgiving

The Boys and Girls Club volunteers support families during thanksgiving

Every year, our annual Thanksgiving dinner hosts 600 guests in Santa Ana. In addition to providing our Santa Ana Club families with a sit-down meal, families in our Costa Mesa and Orange communities are also provided with a complete dinner in take-home boxes.

Most importantly, individual and group volunteers are welcome to join in providing families with a full meal of turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and all the fixin’s.
