We have always believed that when the entire community comes together, our collective impact can affect greater change and outcomes in the lives of those we serve. As such, we are privileged to work with individuals, corporations, community groups, and volunteers to build strategic partnerships that make a lasting impact and help our Club members and families pursue greatness.

AT&T and Bank of America are just two recent examples of corporate partners that do “Whatever It Takes” to ensure our members have the tools they need for success. Both of these companies have a longstanding relationship with our Club and provide a full spectrum of support from corporate investments to employee engagement. At both AT&T and Bank of America, corporate social responsibility is firmly rooted in the company culture, and employees are encouraged to find meaningful ways to support their local communities.

For many years, these partners have built deep relationships with our Club in ways that are important to both the corporations and their employees and that create significant impact for the Club’s mission. For nearly twenty years, AT&T’s Richard Porras has represented our Board of Directors and been a true champion of the Club. He was recognized as our DreamMaker for his and AT&T’s longstanding commitment. As an alumnus of our Santa Ana Club, Richard’s personal connection and understanding of the Club’s impact bring another layer to the depth of the AT&T partnership. Bank of America has provided grant support for our College Bound program and matches interns from its Student Leaders® program with our Club each summer. Three years ago, the company awarded our Club its prestigious Neighborhood Builder award, which granted $200,000 to support our Club’s strategies. Most importantly, both corporations encourage their employees to engage in their community through volunteerism and support, and both provide volunteer mentors for our Club throughout the year for different initiatives.

Most recently, both partners immediately invested financial support in our COVID-19 community response efforts to host food and resource distribution events, provide emergency childcare services for first responders and essential workers, and launch virtual programs and services for our Club members and their families.

“AT&T is committed to making a difference for those who have been so affected by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Rhonda Johnson, President-AT&T California. “Our dedicated employees at AT&T are working around the clock to keep our customers connected to their families, friends and colleagues. This giving effort is one more way that our employees are supporting our local communities.”

“To help advance local organizations’ coronavirus response efforts and recognize their dedication to serving our communities, Bank of America awarded Community Response Funding to Orange County nonprofits that are working to address food insecurity and support vulnerable populations,” said Lisa Sims, Vice President, Bank of America Community Relations – Orange County. “Thank you for everything your organization is doing in Orange County during these unprecedented times.”

Our efforts are not possible without support from our caring partners, and we are grateful to those who are committed to supporting our mission and helping our youth reach their full potential – especially during difficult times. We can also help you find meaningful ways for your company to invest and engage in our programs and services. Please contact David Blair to customize your connection with our Club.
