The College Bound Alumni program provides high school graduates with mentoring, resources, and support to ensure they enroll in, engage with, and graduate from college. This year-round program provides academic, career, and social-emotional support through monthly check-ins, access to workshops and resources, networking opportunities, and peer mentoring.

I have kept a great relationship with my first College Bound mentor who has seen how much I have grown as a student thanks to his dedication. During my first year at SJSU, it was emotionally difficult for me to settle in a place that wasn’t home, but we kept in touch through the Alumni program, and he gave me the courage to keep going. The entire College Bound program has guided me reach goals that I never thought I could accomplish.”

DURING HIGH SCHOOL

College Bound Alumni Coordinators work in tandem with Academic Advisors and counselors to support each student’s post-secondary goals.

DURING THE SUMMER AFTER HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

We provide extensive programming to ensure students enroll in their planned post-secondary institution and help them prepare for the transition to college life.

WHILE IN COLLEGE

This program provides ongoing support and leverages partnerships with the colleges to ensure students have the necessary tools to thrive and graduate.
