ORANGE

We proudly partner with schools in the Orange Unified School District (OUSD) as part of their After School Education and Safety (ASES) program to provide on-campus services from school dismissal until 6:00 P.M. on school days for students in Kindergarten through grade 6. Our Mentor Professionals provide students with an enriching learning experience, which serves to develop each child by offering four main program components: character development, academic enrichment, physical activity, and a nutritious snack.

We provide a holistic approach to youth development that offers a structured daily rotation consisting of a balance of academic reinforcement and homework help (Power Hour), fitness (Triple Play), and enrichment (Science, Health, Art, Music, and Engineering) programs. Our model is designed to help children reach their full potential by impacting the mind, body, and soul. Our goal is to help create confident, educated, and informed leaders out of every member we serve by delivering programs to ensure every child has mentors and champions in life.

This program serves more than 270 students each year at three OUSD elementary school partners:

  • Sycamore Elementary School
  • Taft Elementary School
  • West Orange Elementary School

I have never had after school care teachers be so amazing with my daughter. She goes to Sycamore Elementary in Orange, and I am delighted with the service. I appreciate you working with me as a team and being so wonderful. You have helped shape my daughter’s year into a great one.

SANTA ANA

Our Future Leaders Academy was designed to fit within the Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) Engage 360° After-School Model. Through this partnership, our Mentor Professionals provide on-campus enrichment programs and services from school dismissal until 6:00 P.M. on school days. Our program is delivered in five 7.5-week rotations serving nine schools at a time, eventually working with students at all 36 elementary schools and 9 middle schools in SAUSD throughout the school year.

The Future Leaders Academy focuses on the core areas of leadership development, global readiness, STEM, and mentor relationships. Our project-based learning philosophy ensures that our mentoring experience is fun and interactive, and leverages the impact of peer support groups for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

The Boys & Girls Club staff offered a variety of engaging activities. Parents were excited to see college and career prep projects on the day of our culminating event. Students loved having many hands-on projects and experiments.
