Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast (BGC of Central OC) recently partnered with OC Web Media, a video production, web design and marketing agency, to create immersive virtual tours for its Clubs.

This new 3D tour experience created by OC Web Media allows the nonprofit to push for more enrollment by offering families who visit the Club’s website the option to tour the Clubs virtually. The virtual tour enables individuals to experience each of the rooms in the Club and features video descriptions of the Club’s programming.

The Boys & Girls Club’s Irvine location is the first to launch this immersive virtual Club tour experience through an in-kind donation provided by OC Web Media – and BGC of Central OC plans to add virtual 3D tours to their website for their Costa Mesa, Santa Ana and Newport Beach locations by this summer.

“We are thrilled to partner with OC Web Media to introduce this innovative new virtual Club tour experience at our Irvine location.  This tour provides an incredible opportunity for the community to see firsthand the amazing programs and what our 21st century Clubs have to offer,” aid Robert Santana, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast. “We are excited to also expand this immersive experience to our other Club locations in Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Santa Ana. Our Boys & Girls Club is dedicated to empowering and inspiring young people to reach their full potential and this virtual tour allows us to showcase our commitment to that mission.”

BGC of Central OC’s mission is to ensure every child has mentors and champions in life. The impact of this immersive virtual Club tour created by OC Web Media comes with more exposure and increased opportunities to help provide continued mentorship, resources and opportunities for youth. Overall, the virtual tour helps give families and future Club members the confidence to pursue their goals.

About Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast
Since its founding, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast has been a cornerstone of the Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Orange, and Santa Ana communities. The Clubs have provided strategic programming, safe space, and quality mentoring to more than 100,000 youth since the first Club in Costa Mesa opened in 1941. The Club works to build a foundation for members to live meaningful, productive lives by equipping them with the skills they need to graduate high school, pursue higher education, and join the workforce. It has been recognized by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America as one of the most innovative in the nation, particularly with its IMPACT Model. The Clubs are very proactive in fostering relationships with similarly minded nonprofits to serve youth and their families best. All its activities, whether at the Club, a school, or out in the community, are designed to empower youth and build up the protective family and community factors that reduce risks and increase the likelihood of positive outcomes.
