Imagine the excitement and anticipation in the air waking up on the first day of school. Now, picture young minds eagerly running to their classroom, equipped with the tools needed to succeed. As students take out their brand-new school supplies, other students are forced to reuse their supplies from the previous year, limiting their academic potential.
For many of our families, purchasing school essentials is an overwhelming financial burden. Together, we can alleviate this financial stress. Regardless of background or zip code, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast believes every child has the potential to do great things. It is our privilege to invest in resources to help them achieve greatness.
Our Back to School Campaign helps prepare every child and teen we serve for the entire school year. Our goal is to provide over 500 youth with the support and tools they need for a successful school year — but we can’t do it alone. You can support by:
- Contributing $50 to cover all costs for one child to have brand-new school supplies, $100 to cover the costs of two young people, or $250 to ensure that five young people have the tools they need to succeed.
- Purchasing a brand new backpack from our Amazon Wishlist
- or volunteering in our upcoming backpack builds and distribution events.
By being a part of our Back to School campaign, you are doing so much more than contributing school supplies. You are ensuring that the future leaders of our community are confident and empowered to thrive in school and in life.
