After months of serving as the hub for all our virtual programs, we have re-launched in-person programs at our Boys & Girls Club of Irvine. Our after-school enrichment program provides a holistic approach to youth development through activities that include: STEM, arts, fitness and sports, academic reinforcement and tutoring, mentorship, robotics, and more! We offer all this with safety as our top priority.

Since our founding in Orange County 80 years ago, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast has always prioritized the health and safety for our members, staff, and community partners. It is the cornerstone of our philosophy that Club members deserve nothing less than what we would expect for our own kids — no exceptions.

The COVID-19 pandemic challenged us to raise our standards to an even higher level with strict health protocols to ensure the safety of everyone in our Club. Our enhanced safety protocols include:

  • Limited building and room capacity with physical distancing
  • Daily verbal wellness questionnaires and temperature screenings
  • Deep cleaning of our facilities and frequent sanitation of equipment
  • Dedicated program space for each group (no rotating space)
  • General hygiene protocols around hand-washing, dress code, and wearing the proper PPE

As we return to safe, in-person services, our Learning & Innovation team has also designed an improved enrichment program that supports our members both academically and socially. We are placing an emphasis on balancing the battle against learning loss with ensuring our members are engaged and having fun!

Our after-school enrichment program is offered Monday through Friday, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., for $225 per month. Financial assistance is available. Space is limited. Enroll today!
