College Bound is a college and career readiness program that works to ensure high school students graduate on time with a customized plan for their future.

At the heart of the program is the one-on-one case management through which students receive the individualized guidance, encouragement, and resources they need to set and obtain their educational goals, whether that be through college, military, or trade school pursuits.

With partnerships throughout 12 different school sites in the Santa Ana Unified School District and the Orange Unified School District, College Bound caters to over 400 enrolled students, and provides resources to at least 1,900 additional students every year. For the graduating class of 2021, College Bound helped 145 seniors graduate on time with commitments to pursing higher education.

This past academic year, College Bound advisors were committed to providing extra resources and guidance students needed to navigate the COVID-19 educational interruption. To combat this, advisors led 137 college and career focused webinars and held a total of 2,166 hours of virtual mentoring and advising. These sessions not only focused on providing a plan for their future, but also helped students manage their mental health since many had been affected due to the pandemic.
