Each year we also honor and recognize a DreamMaker and Corporate Champion, whose involvement and support of our Club is a testament to the power of investing in youth so they can thrive and achieve their greatest potential.
DreamMaker
A DreamMaker is an individual who has made a significant impact in the lives of our youth, inspiring them to pursue greatness and helping make dreams come true. This year’s DreamMakers have been champions of our Boys & Girls Club for over 20 years.
Frank and Shannon Tucker’s journey with our Boys & Girls Club began in the late ‘90s when they attended the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana’s second Gala, Castle of Dreams. Shannon quickly made an impact by joining the Gala committee, where she worked with the team to ensure the event’s success. Over the years, the Tuckers became pivotal leaders within the Club, joining the Board of Directors, with Shannon eventually serving as Chair to help guide the Club toward strategic growth. Both Frank and Shannon have dedicated countless hours to volunteering at our annual Thanksgiving, Back 2 School, Winter Wonderland, and many other Club events.
Driven by a deep belief in championing youth, Frank and Shannon are committed to ensuring that future generations are equipped to lead and pursue greatness. As this year’s DreamMaker honorees, they see their recognition as a testament to the power of investing time and energy in strategic programs that empower youth to impact their communities and achieve their greatest potential.
Corporate Champion
As a true Blue Ambassador, dedicated to ensuring all children will build life-long, positive memories, achieve their greatest potential and inspire future generations, this year, we have the honor of recognizing Panda Cares Foundation as our Corporate Champion.
As the philanthropic arm of Panda Restaurant Group, Panda Cares has been committed to providing funding and volunteer services to youth and disaster relief efforts since 1999. As a national partner of the Boys & Girls Clubs movement, Panda Cares supports students from kindergarten through college and beyond, helping them grow intellectually and become future leaders. Through their Panda Cares Centers of Hope, they offer the resources and support students need to develop the academic and life skills essential for a brighter future.
In 2023, Panda Cares partnered with our Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana Joe MacPherson Center for Opportunity to establish a Panda Cares Center of Hope—a space dedicated to learning, innovation, and creativity for hundreds of youth in Santa Ana.
